The "TopTenREVIEWS Bronze Award" winning CD burning software, Burn & Go X is a quality CD burning product that creates excellent copies and is easy to use. The few hiccups we found with this program is it required us to install an additional application before it would run smoothly and it is not compatible with Windows Vista.
Burn & Go X has several handy features, including the ability to copy unencrypted CDs and DVDs, print labels and erase CD-RW discs. This software even allows you to copy from one disc directly to another disc without tying up your hard drive (but "on the fly" copying requires two disc drives).
Ease of Use:
We liked Burn & Go X's ease of use because its logical icons automatically direct you to the proper function. Once you select the right feature, burning a CD takes only a few simple steps.
Ease of Installation:
We had one problem installing Burn and Go. When we began, an error message popped up stating that that the application had failed to initialize properly. We discovered that in order to install this program we had to first download and install Microsoft Framework 1.1. Installation and setup went smoothly after this extra task was complete.
Quality of Copy:
The software produced a high-quality, distortion-free copy of the original. The copy process was error-free.
Help/Documentation:
The help documentation was well organized and easy to understand. Main topics were subdivided into separate categories, and these were broken down into self-explanatory steps.
Summary:
Overall, Burn & Go X is a very good product that has convenient features and produces a high-quality CD copy.
